Victors School, an innovative Kindergarten through Grade7 School, is run by INFECHRIS Uganda. We help 300 impoverished children, 200 of whom are orphans, reach their full potential academically, socially, morally, and economically. Our curriculum provides basic education, enriched with life skills and training, to enable the students to generate income for themselves and their families.
Victors Academy provide a secure and caring learning environment where every individuals well-being is a priority.
Victors Academy support all pupils achieve their potentials academically, socially and morally through an effective potential discovery and development.
Under this program, well-wishers are invited to support an individual child with school tuition or another need. Alternatively, one may offer support in the form of money for books, pens, uniforms, shoes, and food. Sponsored children exchange letters and photos with their sponsors and the student's progress reports are sent to their sponsor.
Since most of the children in our school come from households with meager resources, malnutrition is evident among them. As a way to promote nutrition, we cultivate crops to ensure a balanced diet for the children and the staff. Our crop gardens are also a way for the students to learn simple scientific methods of crop growing and be able to ensure food security within their households. Gardening has been possible over the years due to generous support from well-wishers who have sent funds to buy improved seeds, fertilizers, and to rent land for the gardens.
In addition to gardening, we rear chickens to supplement the children's diet. The students cultivate cereal crops and a variety of vegetables that are essential for chicken growth and less costly than buying chicken feed. Sponsors can help by providing funds to cover veterinarian costs to prevent disease among the chickens.
